I was born in the north east of England, but until late 2009 had been living and working in the Barcelona area of Spain since 1992. I returned to the UK with my Spanish husband and we set up “Los Rodriguez” to bring a touch of Spain and the Mediterranean.
Whilst in Spain I wrote and published a cookery book on "Traditional British Cooking" in an attempt to show that ideas on British food abroad are not quite true! I also worked as a consultant with the Spanish Health Department on EU projects to promote healthy diets and lifestyles.
Our small company is based on the belief that quality and service are of the utmost importance. We sold our weekend bistro in Barnard Castle to concentrate on bespoke catering. We are very pleased with the reaction of customers to our dishes and we would welcome the opportunity to earn your trust as a new customer and deliver you the best service possible.
